FOR VANCOUVER WINNERS
WALK OF HOPE!
Due to the uncertainty surrounding the civic strike in the city of Vancouver - and the closure of Van Dusen Gardens - the Vancouver Winners Walk of Hope has been relocated to DEER LAKE PARK in Burnaby. The scheduled date and time of the Winners Walk of Hope remains the same.
Directions: From the Trans Canada Highway, take the Kensington South turnoff. Turn west on Canada Way and follow the signs to Deer Lake Park.
Please Note: Dogs are not allowed in the beach and
neighbouring picnic area of this park.
Honouring our 10th Anniversary
Share your hope with all of Canada. You are invited to commemorate your journey with ovarian cancer and celebrate loved ones alongside women and their families across the country. Bring a photo, a favorite quote, or your story to your local Winners Walk of Hope. Make some new friends as you create a page in one of Ovarian Cancer Canada's scrapbooks. The collection of books will represent a tribute to the community's voice and strength, nationally united to "Turn UP the Volume!" on the disease that whispers. Throughout our 10th Anniversary year, the scrapbooks will be featured at OCC events and in May 2008 at the Forum in Montreal, Quebec.
Thank you for your support of Ovarian Cancer Canada, the only charitable organization in Canada dedicated to overcoming ovarian cancer.
